Range of expansion vessels with replaceable EPDM bag for heating and boosted cold or hot water services. Model EVUP is rated at 10 bar and approved for wholesome water applications.

Specification Clause
Where indicated on the drawing an Expansion Vessel suitable for both heating and domestic boosting applications - model EVUP – shall be installed as distributed by Arrow Valves Ltd – Tel 01442 823123 www.arrowvalves.co.uk. The vessel body shall be mild steel with blue epoxy coating with a bottom entry male connection. The butyl membrane shall be suitable for 99 degrees Celsius at 10 bar (for 80 litres and larger). A separate expansion vessel ball valve – model BVEV – shall be supplied to enable draining of the vessel in order to check the air charge. The vessel must be correctly sized. For heating applications - the pre-charge shall be the same as the cold fill switch on pressure1.
Amend as required:
[1] For domestic boosting applications - the pre-charge shall be 0.2 bar less than the cold fill switch on pressure.
