15mm Servicing & Double Check Valve for Cisterns

Double Check Valve (type ED) and Servicing Valve assembly with chrome plated brass body. Designed for use with bottom entry WC flushing cisterns, where the air gap has been compromised. Double Check Valves (type ED) are suitable for Category 3 risks, which are fluids that represent a slight health hazard, such as the contents of a WC flushing cistern. The risk arises where the ball valve is immersed in the cistern under the water level, which could lead to cleaning products (blue blocks) syphoning back into the mains supply. The swivel connector on the inlet of the assembly allows for easy installation, and alignment of the servicing valve.

Every bottom entry WC flushing cistern, shall be fitted with a Water Regulations approved Double Check and Servicing Valve assembly as manufactured and distributed by Arrow Valves Ltd – Tel 01442 823123 www.arrowvalves.co.uk. The pressure drop across the assembly shall be less than 0.08 bar at 1 m/s pipe velocity. The body shall be chrome plated brass with female inlet and compression outlet.
