Ultra-compact Domestic Cold Water Booster Pump Set with integral Automatic Bypass Valve. The unit is designed to boost pressure for tall buildings where space is limited and the mains supply is inadequate. The Arrow Stealth Booster is supplied as a complete package on a stainless steel base – the exceptionally small footprint allows the unit to be installed in a kitchen cupboard, negating the need for a plant room. The integral Bypass Valve ensures a continued mains supply (at mains pressure) in the event of power failure or maintenance. The variable speed pump, anti-vibration rubber feet and flexible stainless braided connection hoses result in the unit being extremely quiet during operation. Fast filling is achieved by a servo controlled solenoid valve with solid-state level probe control.

A Booster Pump Set with Integral Automatic Bypass Valve “Arrow Stealth Booster” shall be installed – model BTSBBPV – as manufactured by Arrow Valves Ltd – Tel 01442 823123 www.arrowvalves.co.uk. The unit shall have an 18 litre cistern, with a lid and screened DN40 overflow complying with G16.13 of the Water Regulations. The pump shall be centrifugal with stainless steel impellors and housing. The pump speed shall be varied by an integral inverter to provide a constant pressure. The duty at 100% output shall be 3.0 bar @ 0.8 lt/s and be controlled by a pressure transducer, which is damped with a 1 litre pressure vessel. The cistern level shall be controlled by a servo solenoid valve operated via stainless steel conductive electrodes and controller. A low-level pump cut-out shall automatically reset once the cistern is sufficiently full. The integral Automatic Bypass Valve shall feature a low headloss double check valve. The unit shall feature a stainless steel base plate and be acoustically attenuated by anti-vibration feet and stainless steel braided flexible hoses. A 22 mm supply is required, which must maintain a dynamic pressure of 1.0 bar.
