Fluid Category 3 Double Check Valves

On this section of our website, you will find our full range of products that provide backflow protection for Fluid Category 3 risks. These are fluids that represent a slight danger to health because of their concentration of low-toxicity substances. They can include any fluid that contains sodium hypochlorite (which is frequently used in disinfectants and bleaching agents), ethylene glycol, copper sulphate solution or other similar chemical additives. Category 3 water solutions have a range of applications. For example, they can be used in domestic dishwashing machines, domestic baths and showers, home dialysing machines and domestic garden hose union taps.

The solutions feature two check valve cartridges that serve to prevent contaminated water from flowing backwards. These are spring loaded cartridges that allow water to flow through in one direction, but close if water starts to travel backwards. Our range includes non-verifiable (ED) and verifiable (EC) double check valves, including ED235, ED440 and EC453 products.

To see our range for yourself, simply take a look around our website. You can also contact our specialist team by email or phone if you would like further details concerning any of our water solutions. We pride ourselves on our excellent levels of customer service and are on hand to guide you through your options.
