As a Water Regulations solution specialist, we supply a full range of products that provide backflow protection for Fluid Category 5 risks. These are fluids that represent a serious health risk due to the concentration of pathogenic organisms or highly toxic or radioactive substances present within them. This can include animal or butchery waste, faecal matter or other human waste, or pathogens from a range of other sources. Examples of environments that require these solutions include urinals, laboratories, drain cleaning plants, industrial cisterns and bin stores.
You can rest assured that all of our products within this range offer the highest safety standards. The inlet of each solution is connected to the mains water supply, while the outlet is connected to the Fluid Category 5 application. Each of the Cat 5 Break Tank and Pump Sets features an air gap between the inlet and outlet to ensure that contaminated water does not flow back into the mains supply. These air gaps are Type AB or equivalent, meaning they meet the relevant Water Regulations requirements for Category 5.
We offer a full range of solutions, including Boost-A-Break break tanks, Midi-Break break tank systems, DC pipe interrupters and Ablution Plant units.
