Merry Christmas from all at Arrow Valves! Sustainability is very important to us here. Bearing this in mind, we have decided to again send e-cards in place of traditional paper cards for Christmas this year, donating £1,000 to ‘The TOY Project’ instead.
Every year in the UK over 20,000 children under the age of 18 experience the death of a parent – that is around 60 children and young people bereaved of a mother or father every day. ‘The Toy Project’ provides toys for use by organisations involved with child bereavement – helping children deal with their grief through play. In addition to their work supporting bereaved children, they provide toys to children in hospices, hospitals, refugee centres, nurseries, schools and vulnerable families.
