Where indicated on the drawing an Expansion Vessel suitable for both heating and domestic boosting applications – model EVUP – shall be installed as distributed by Arrow Valves Ltd – Tel 01442 823123 www.arrowvalves.co.uk. The vessel body shall be carbon steel with blue epoxy coating with a bottom entry male connection. The rubber membrane shall be suitable for 70 degrees Celsius at 10 bar. A separate expansion vessel ball valve – model BVEV – shall be supplied to enable draining of the vessel in order to check the air charge. The vessel must be correctly sized. The pre-charge pressure shall be 0.2 bar less than the switch on pressure of a booster pump.
