Below ground servicing valve with optional meter. Effective frost protection for the winter can be achieved with this below ground servicing valve, which should be closed and the standpipe left open. Even if ordered without meter (meter connection is blanked off with a disc), the facility remains for a concentric water meter to be fitted later in-situ.

Specification Clause
Where indicated on the drawing, a Water Regulations approved full bore quarter turn Ball Valve with integral compression fittings for copper tube shall be installed – model BV2091 – as distributed by Arrow Valves Ltd – Tel 01442 823123 www.arrowvalves.co.uk. The body shall be corrosion resistant DZR2 brass. The valve shall be operated by a lever3 for sizes DN15 – DN50. The valve shall have a serviceable PTFE spindle seal.
